Cypress Hill and Atmosphere Bring Good Vibes and Classic Jams to The Stone Pony Summer Stage!

Cypress Hill and Atmosphere brought their Dank Daze of Summer Tour to The Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park last month, and the result was a show full of good vibes and top-tier hip hop.

Atmosphere co-headlined the tour and delivered a typically passionate and engaging performance. While the set was cut short due to weather concerns, it didn’t affect any of their impact in the slightest. Their shows are notable for a mix of storytelling and commentary, and the audience very much resonated with the message. Atmosphere delivered a memorable and engaging live experience, and their signature sound and live performance show no plans of slowing momentum anytime soon.

When Cypress Hill finally took to the stage after waiting out a potential storm, the anticipation was high and the wait was well worth it. The legendary hip hop duo of B-Real and Sen Dog have been a staple for years, and this recent performance showed that they’re still firing off on all cylinders. The energy and positivity were infectious throughout the set, which didn’t skimp on the classics such as “Insane in the Brain”, “Hits from the Bong”, “I Ain’t Going Out Like That” and “(Rock) Superstar”. All sounded absolutely electric live. Cypress Hill’s set was an exhilarating performance of vibrant party energy that benefitted from the duo’s musicality—an instrumental drum break was a notable touch. Their momentum showed no lulls and the duo brought plenty of passion, showmanship and endless amounts of personality, resulting in a highly satisfying live experience.

When putting together a tour, finding the right balance between the headliners and lineup can be a tricky balance. Cypress Hill and Atmosphere shared headlining duties to tremendous effect and both acts are very much still at the top of their game.
