Jack’s Mannequin Reunite for Captivating Sold Out Show at The Stone Pony Summer Stage!

Andrew McMahon is arguably one of the most prolific singer-songwriters out there and he’s been fortunate to be the frontman for not one, but three iconic live acts. This year, he reunited with his former band Jack’s Mannequin, whose influential records such as Everything In Transit have long been considered staples in his catalog. The band returned for a sold out show at The Stone Pony Summer Stage as part of this year’s Prudential North to Shore Festival, and it seems that time has been kind to them as they sounded just as captivating as ever!

McMahon’s stage presence felt especially vibrant here and his bandmates stepped back into their roles seamlessly as well. Hearing classic songs from their catalog felt genuinely exciting, and his performance shined thanks to the renewed energy and emotion for these beloved songs. Another noteworthy aspect is McMahon’s storytelling, which was very endearing and helped audiences resonate even deeper with these songs which have very much stood the test of time. The setlist struck a strong balance with plenty of memorable cuts from Everything In Transit as well as The Glass Passenger and People And Things. It was truly a treat to hear songs such as “Doris Day”, “Kill The Messenger”, “La La Lie” and “Mixed Tape” live again after quite some time!

What truly made the Jack’s Mannequin reunion such a special evening is the sheer joy and passion McMahon displayed throughout the night. Having not performed in a decade, the band made an exhilarating and emotional return that more than solidified their artistry and showcased why they continue to be an impactful act that’s well beloved by audiences. for both long time and newer fans, this tour comes highly recommended! Be sure to follow both Andrew McMahon and Jack’s Mannequin on all social media and streaming platforms for future updates and announcements!
