LaMP Lights Up the Stage Returning to Wonder Bar
LaMP is Russ Lawton, Scott Metzger, and Ray Paczkowski! A trio of A-grade musicians.
On a balmy night that pulsed with rhythm and soul, the band took the stage and delivered a performance that was nothing short of electric. Blending deep-pocket funky jazzy grooves with a rich sound, LaMP proved they are more than just a band—they’re a sonic experience.
From the moment the first downbeat dropped, the crowd knew they were in for something special. The show kicked off with a tight, syncopated rhythm section that laid the foundation for an evening of complex, yet danceable tunes. The bass was thick and punchy, the drums locked in, and the keys floated over the mix like sunlight on water. The guitar was electrified and giving off so much feel and energy. There was not one lyric sung, only the sounds of electrifying feel grooves.
The last time LaMP appeared in Asbury was for Tom Marshall’s birthday bash at The Stone Pony joined by TAB’s newest bass player Dezron Douglas! To say the least all in all, the band delivered and the fans were happy as can be. Can’t wait to have these guys back soon hopefully.
