Light of Day WinterFest Returns to Asbury Park

The first official Light of Day concert was held in Asbury Park on a November night in 2000 at the legendary Stone Pony. Fast forward twenty-six years and the event’s WinterFest now consists of over 20 shows held at a variety of locations both big and small in our city by the sea.

This year’s festival once again highlighted multiple generations of the musicians helping to raise money for a wonderful cause. Whether it was Willie Nile at The Pony, Dramarama at Wonder Bar, or local talent such as Bobby Mahoney, Emerson Wolf, Cranston Dean, Alexander Simone, Ryan Gregg, The Azures, Lou Montesano, Shayne Maeryn, Levy Okun, Lou Panico and Natalie Farrell playing at various bars and restaurants turned music venues, our quiet winter beach town was alive with music.

So please check out our gallery from those events we were able to catch this wonderful weekend. And if you would like to help the Light of Day Foundation fight Parkinson’s, ALS, and PSP, you can donate here.
