Low Cut Connie Brings Powerhouse Performance to the Legendary Stone Pony!

There’s some artists who grativate towards the Garden State and it’s legendary musical history, so much so they end up becoming Jersey staples in their own right. Adam Weiner, otherwise known as Low Cut Connie, has graced Asbury Park with many a performance and his latest return to the iconic Stone Pony was a show for the ages.

The band came on stage ready to let it all out, and anyone familiar with a Low Cut Connie show knows how passionate and interactive they are. This outing was no exception as Weiner jumped and danced and made his way through the crowd at multiple points throughout the night. His backing band was highly impressive as they delivered some exhilarating solos and moments of their own. During the show, Weiner delivered a speech about coming together and unifying in these uncertain times and the inclusive nature of his set made for a notable impact.

Also on the lineup were Asbury Park’s very own Not Yer Baby who delivered a vibrant and memorable opening set! Frontwoman Carrot Bradley’s stage presence was exhilarating and upbeat and the band’s on stage chemistry was a blast to watch as well. Credit to guitarist Joey Dico and bassist Johnny Muzik whose energetic performances were truly captivating to watch and a genuine highlight. Their set was also graced with an appearance from Danny Clinch which was a pleasant surprise and made for some truly exciting moments on stage! Despite it being a shorter set, Not Yer Baby more than made the most of their time and showcased why they’re one of Asbury’s most dynamic talents on the scene currently.

There are artists who put on shows and there are artists who deliver experiences. In the case of Low Cut Connie, they’re very much in the experience business and their latest Stone Pony show was a joyous and passionate showcase of their artistry. If you’ve yet to witness one of their shows live, it’s a highly recommended experience, especially if you can catch them in Asbury Park. Be sure to follow Low Cut Connie on all platforms and check them out at the Transparent Clinch Gallery this month for Light of Day!
