Meet Me @ the Altar Returns to NJ for an Exciting Wonder Bar Show!

Meet Me @ the Altar have been steadily building a devoted fanbase ever since breaking out on their first tour in 2018 and being signed to noteworthy pop punk record label Fueled by Ramen. Having supported high profile acts such as 5 Seconds of Summer and endorsed by scene veterans such as All Time Low, the band has made the transition to a duo with touring members and are back on their own headlining tour. They returned to New Jersey for the first time in awhile with an exhilarating and crowd pleasing Wonder Bar show!

MM@TA’s sound is a fresh mix of early 2000s pop punk with plenty of their signature energy. Frontwoman Edith Victoria’s stage presence was delightfully vibrant throughout their performance. The band’s on-stage chemistry was organic, and the musicianship on display was consistently engaging. Also notable was the interactive nature of their set which led to some genuine audience participation that was highly enjoyable and registered greatly with their fanbase!

The Jersey energy was deeply felt in the band’s choice of opener, pop punk act Pollyanna, who just recently released their album Weirdo. The band delivered a passionate and energizing set that showcased their dynamic sound and personal storytelling. Lead vocalist Jill Beckett’s performance was sincere and powerful and the band’s chemistry truly shined during their set. For an opener, Pollyanna had plenty of their own fans in the audience and their performance showcased why. Their raw and heartfelt sound delivered, and their electric live performance defines them as a truly engaging act with plenty of promise. Despite having a shorter set, they more than delivered and satisfied both their established fans and gained some new ones in the process!

For a two-band bill, having each act be memorable feels even more crucial. Thankfully both groups rose to the occasion and delivered very memorable and passionate sets that illustrated why they’re two of the genre’s most promising acts right now. If you have a chance to see this tour near you it’s recommended you do so and be sure to follow Meet Me @ the Altar and Pollyanna on streaming and social platforms as well!
