Rainbow Kitten Surprise Makes Triumphant Return To Asbury Park With Sold Out Stone Pony Summer Stage Show!
Some bands have built a massively dedicated fanbase that follow them through their consistent musical evolution. Indie folk rock band Rainbow Kitten Surprise who have amassed a strong cult following throughout the years have finally returned to Asbury Park to headline a sold out and electrifying Summer Stage show! The band, touring off their most recent record “Love Hate Music Box,” not only showcased their strong and dynamic new release but also included many fan favorites as well. Tracks such as “Cocaine Jesus”, “Painkillers” and “SVO” all translated effectively live alongside newer highlights such as “Dang.” Lead vocalist Ela Melo brought plenty of charismatic energy and showmanship and the on-stage chemistry between each band member was utterly seamless throughout the set. Credit also to Rainbow Kitten Surprise’s pure joy and passion which was truly infectious, as well as the band’s message of inclusivity which resonated greatly with their eager audience.
In terms of providing a memorable live experience, RKS certainly made their long awaited return to Asbury Park worth the wait! With a vibrant and passionate stage show that also showed off their versatile musicianship, Rainbow Kitten Surprise have proven that they’re a band that’s progressing notably and thankfully the results are just as captivating and inventive as ever.
