Summer School Tour Returns to Starland Ballroom with Star-Studded Lineup!
The idobi Radio Summer School Tour returned this year and once again proved to be an exciting showcase for pop-punk and emo’s rising talent! Each act brought their own personality and showmanship to their set and they all managed to complement each other effectively. Included in this year’s lineup were alt-pop/emo act Rain City Drive, singers Charlotte Sands and Taylor Acorn, alt-rockers Beauty School Dropout, pop band Arrows in Action, and special guest Huddy. Despite each act only being able to perform for 20 minutes, everyone on the lineup brought their respective A-game and more than made a case for themselves in the process. The energy and spirit of The Summer School Tour recalls that of early Warped Tours—it serves as a great introduction to some of the genre’s most dynamic talent while also giving fans the chance to see multiple favorites all on one lineup.
Overall, this was another satisfying showcase of pop punk and emo featuring some of the most exciting and promising talent within the genre.
