TKB Turns Triumph Brewery Into a Jam Session
Sasha from TKB and Andrew Abboud at Triumph Brewery Red Bank
What would you do the night before leaving for a long European tour? For TKB, the answer was simple. Call some friends, set up a pop-up show at Triumph Brewing in Red Bank, and spend a Sunday night turning a local brewery into a full-blown jam session.
Just a few nights after backing Taj Farrant at The Vogel, TKB returned with the same raw energy and chemistry that has quickly made them one of the more exciting young bands to watch on the local scene. Featuring Abel on drums, Eddie Juno on vocals and guitar, Sean Andrew Bleu on lead guitar, and Sasha on bass, the band delivered two hard driving sets packed with authentic covers, improvisation, and original music.
Special guest Andrew Abboud, a rising 16-year-old local guitarist, fit seamlessly into the lineup, moving easily between fluid lead work and confident vocals that made it feel like this group had been playing together for years.
Midway through the night, bassist Sasha asked the crowd if they were ready for a more intimate and up-close experience. Moments later, Sasha, Abboud, and Sean Andrew Bleu stepped off the stage and into the audience without missing a note. Surrounded by the crowd, Triumph suddenly felt less like a brewery show and more like a late-night jam among friends. The room erupted in applause as the set came to a close.
For a few hours on a Sunday night in Red Bank, the audience got to experience the joy, spontaneity, and excitement of young musicians simply playing for the love of it, and everyone in the room knew they had witnessed something special.
