Summer Starts Here: North to Shore Festival Returns June 13–28, 2026

Summer in New Jersey doesn’t ease in — it arrives loud, creative and full of heart. From June 13–28, 2026, the North to Shore Festival returns for its fourth year, transforming Newark, Asbury Park and Atlantic City into a two-week celebration of music, comedy, poetry, and community-driven art.

What makes North to Shore special isn’t just the scale — it’s the way world-class performances and local, grassroots creativity coexist in celebrating the diversity, artists and culture throughout New Jersey.

Three Cities. One Jersey-Spanning Festival.

Newark: Big Names, Big Energy

Newark anchors the festival with more than 30 community events, alongside comedy, hip hop, and major concerts at the Prudential Center. This year’s lineup includes The Black Crowes, Whiskey Myers, Joe Bonamassa, with many more artists to be announced.

From large-scale shows to neighborhood-centered programming, Newark continues to showcase how deeply music and culture are woven into the city’s identity.

Asbury Park: Where Discovery Meets the Shore

Asbury Park once again delivers one of the most exciting blends of national touring acts and local scene staples. Artists like Primus, Yellowcard and Hot Mulligan headline a growing lineup, with additional announcements still to come.

Events will take place across beloved venues including Stone Pony Summer Stage, House of Independents, Wonder Bar, Carousel House, Georgies, Watermark — plus the ever-popular Asbury Underground, which brings intimate performances into unexpected spaces throughout the city.

This is Asbury Park at its best: vibrant, welcoming and endlessly creative.

Atlantic City: New Programs, Community Roots

Atlantic City continues to expand its role in the festival with programming that blends performance and purpose. A major highlight is Garden State Live, a brand-new North to Shore series spotlighting New Jersey indie bands at Hard Rock Atlantic City

Local favorites set to appear include P-Funk North, The Brothers Union, Surfing for Daisy, and many others.

Atlantic City also hosts the Dodge Poetry Program, along with a wide range of community arts initiatives that have been running since 2025 and will continue through the North to Shore Festival and into July — reinforcing the festival’s long-term investment in local culture.

A Festival That Celebrates Jersey — and Gives Back

A defining feature of North to Shore is its commitment to accessibility and impact. Led by the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), the festival partners with organizations like Newark Arts, Newark Alliance, Asbury Fest, Carousel Art House, Georgies Bar and more to ensure a wide spectrum of programming — including many free events.

As Dr. Sherri-Ann Butterfield, NJPAC’s Senior Vice President of Social Impact, puts it:

“Artists who have made their homes in New Jersey, who've built careers in New Jersey's clubs, concert halls and galleries — they've always been a major feature of North to Shore.”

The festival also continues its Growing Healthy Pantries initiative in partnership with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, helping combat food insecurity across the state.

Stay Connected

Last year, more than 160,000 people experienced why North to Shore has become New Jersey’s can’t-miss summer festival — and 2026 is shaping up to be even bigger.

Headliners and schedules are rolling out now! The main event lineup will be announced on February 18. The community events in Newark and Asbury Park will be announced at a press conference the week of April 6. All tickets will be on sale by February 27, 2026 at 10am.
