Asbury Underground Showcases the Artistic Heartbeat of Asbury Park

Church and State TM at Over the Moon
Asbury Underground is an art and music crawl that showcases the creative talents of local artists and musicians. It is a unique celebration of a diverse array of visual arts, performance art, and live music which fosters community engagement while supporting the local creative scene. And this year’s version was the perfect combination of incredible music, fantastic Jersey shore weather, and the awesome Asbury Park vibes that make this town special.
Doug Zambon, Chris Brown, Chris Buono, and JD Leidersdorff kicked off an awesome day of non-stop music that ended with a special performance from Church and State TM (with one of Jersey’s favorite sons on the drums) at Over the Moon Art Studios. Some of the biggest names in the local music scene participated this year including Nicole Atkins, Bobby Mahoney, Williams Honor, Dentist, The Foes of Fern, Deseree Spinks, Emily Grove, and many many more.
Asbury Underground has been a great addition to the Prudential North to Shore Festival these past few years. There’s just something special about walking around downtown with the sound of live music coming from all directions, and we’re already counting the days until next year.
