Lake Street Dive Bring Their Soulful Vibes to The Wellmont Theater!
Lake Street Dive have established themselves as one of the most musically talented live acts around, and even after a decade as a band are finding new ways to explore their sound! Touring off their most recent release, Good Together, the band made their way to The Wellmont Theater for a joyous and sold out night of exhilarating and soulful music. Frontwoman Rachael Price showcased her dynamic and captivating vocal range along with her tremendously talented band including bassist Bridget Kearney, keyboardist Akie Bermiss, drummer Mike Calabrese, and guitarist James Cornelison, all of whom brought their respective talents fully to the stage. The setlist was also a varied and well crafted mix of both newer highlights such as “Dance With a Stranger” and “Good Together” along with fan favorites such as “You Go Down Smooth”, “Hypotheticals”, and “Bad Self Portraits”. It’s also a testament to Lake Street Dive’s artistry that both their newer and older material resonates equally with audiences without missing a beat.
Having been an actively consistent touring act for the last decade, Lake Street Dive have poured a notable amount of effort into crafting a well-rounded and throughly engaging live experience.
