Turnover Return With Sold-Out Stone Pony Show

It’s a testament to a band’s longevity that they can maintain a loyal and dedicated fanbase and indie band Turnover have certainly proven their enduring appeal and staying power throughout the years. The band once again returned to Asbury Park, this time selling out the legendary Stone Pony, the show was met with a very captivated and sold-out audience. Turnover’s performance was a strong mix of their newer and older material and their lush and dream-pop sound was engaging throughout. The band was also joined by two equally compelling acts, the hyperpop act Drook and synth-punk outfit MSPAINT. Drook’s mix of alternative and glitchy electronica was a unique and refreshing experience and despite their brief set managed to leave an impression. MSPAINT’s set was an instant highlight thanks to their high-energy and dynamic set, their frontperson DeeDee delivered a truly physical and all-out performance matched by an equally energized and eclectic band. Both opening acts complemented and contrasted turnover effectively and the diversity on display resulted in a well-rounded and highly engaging musical showcase.

In the realm of live music, cultivating a steadfast fanbase is crucial to maintaining consistent success and Turnover have managed that accomplishment thanks to their ever-evolving and immersive sound. Their organic connection to their fanbase is equally impressive as is their eye for emerging talent in the case of their two exciting openers Drook and MSPAINT. If you have a chance to check out this tour it’s highly recommended you do so.
