Sublime Returns to the Jersey Shore for North to Shore Festival Performance

One of the most influential bands of the past three decades is headed to the new Count Basie Park Stage this summer as Sublime takes the spotlight as part of New Jersey's North to Shore Festival on June 19, 2026!

The iconic Long Beach CA. group continues its latest evolution with founding bassist Eric Wilson, original drummer Bud Gaugh, and vocalist Jakob Nowell, son of late frontman Bradley Nowell. Since Jakob's debut with the band in 2024, Sublime has reconnected with longtime fans while introducing its music to a new generation through major festival appearances and high-profile performances across the country.

For many Jersey Shore music fans, the upcoming appearance serves as a welcome return. Sublime delivered one of the most memorable sets at Sea.Hear.Now in Asbury Park last year, drawing a massive crowd and reminding audiences why songs like "Santeria," "What I Got," and "Wrong Way" remain staples nearly three decades after their release.

The Freehold performance also comes just days after the release of Until the Sun Explodes, Sublime's first studio album since 1996. The long-awaited project marks a significant milestone for the band and adds an extra layer of intrigue for fans eager to hear how the group's signature blend of ska, punk, reggae, and hip-hop translates into a new era.

The performance is part of the North to Shore Festival, which has become one of New Jersey's premier cultural events since launching in 2023. With hundreds of performances taking place across the state each year, the festival continues to bring nationally recognized artists and homegrown talent together for a celebration of music, arts, and culture. Sublime's appearance at the new Count Basie Park Stage is expected to be one of this summer's standout events.
