Mike Pinto Starts Tour in NJ at the Legendary Wonder Bar

From the moment the lights dimmed and the Moon sisters took center stage, the crowd felt like old friends gathering for a homecoming. Their voices blended with effortless ease, and their stage presence carried a quiet confidence that set a welcoming mood for what was to follow. When Mike Pinto finally strolled out guitar in hand, easy smile, and that unmistakable relaxed look the energy in the room shifted.

His set wove through favorites and deeper cuts, allowing each lyric to breathe. Wonder Bar, with its storied place in the New Jersey music scene, felt like a perfect launching point—small enough to feel intimate, yet charged enough to turn heads. Pinto was accompanied by drummer Chuck Treece and bassist Ted Bowne.

On social media after the show, he reflected: “The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park was just a perfect start to the weekend.”
