Pinkshift Launches the Earthkeeper Tour with a Fiery Night of Punk Energy
On the first night of their 2025 Earthkeeper Tour, Baltimore punk band Pinkshift roared back to the stage with an explosive, high energy set at Asbury Lanes that left no doubt they’re one of the most exciting acts in punk right now. The crowd was electric from the start, moshing, shouting, and feeding off the band’s relentless momentum.
Opening the night were DoFlame, who immediately grabbed attention by joking, “This is a Taylor Swift show!” before launching into a wave of heavy punk riffs. The four piece drummer, guitarist, bassist, and lead singer tore through their set with raw intensity and a go for broke attitude that perfectly set the tone for the night.

Next up was LustSickPuppy, the genre-bending project of Tomasyn Hayes, known for mixing rap, punk, and industrial influences into something entirely their own. Their set was bold, unpredictable, and visually captivating, showing exactly why they’ve been generating so much buzz online.

By the time Pinkshift took the stage, the crowd was more than ready. Frontman Ashrita Kumar commanded the room with a fierce presence, their vocals cutting through the noise with both grit and emotion. Backed by Paul Vallejo on guitar and Myron Houngbedji on drums, the band delivered a tight, passionate performance that balanced chaos and control.
New songs from Earthkeeper hit with urgency and weight, while older fan favorites turned the floor into a full on cathartic release. Every lyric was shouted back by fans who have been with them from the start. The band’s chemistry was undeniable, their energy never letting up for a second.
From start to finish, the night felt like a celebration of community, rebellion, and everything that makes Pinkshift’s message resonate. If the first stop of the Earthkeeper Tour is any indication, the rest of the run is going to be something special.
