The Menzingers Return to Asbury Park for a Triumphant Summer Stage Show!
There are bands who’s live shows are a guaranteed good time no matter how many times you’ve seen them, and The Menzingers most certainly fit into that category! Once again returning to Asbury Park, the band played one of the last shows of The Stone Pony Summer Stage season and more than dominated their set with plenty of their signature energy.
The band’s shows are known for their strong audience interactions, and the Summer Stage crowd was incredibly connected. Their setlist was filled with plenty of fan favorites like “Hope is a Dangerous Little Thing”, “America (You’re Freaking Out)”, “After the Party” and “Thick as Thieves”, all of which resonated as greatly as ever. Frontman Greg Barnett delivered a typically engaging performance and was matched effortlessly by co-vocalist Tom May whose endlessly vibrant presence was a consistent highlight to watch. Throughout their set, The Menzingers were very much in their element and their genuine passion and joy made for an absolutely exhilarating experience.
When it comes to achieving success as a band, delivering a consistently engaging live show is a key aspect. Thankfully in the case of The Menzingers, their shows are very much a memorable experience and this show is no exception. If you’ve yet to see them live, it’s highly recommended you do so!
